ALLED2 supported 15 more MOUs between schools and businesses

Ms. Efka Heder – team leader of the ALLED2 project, expressed her happiness with the signing of these Memorandums of Cooperation between the vocational schools supported by ALLED2 and 15 businesses, where she emphasized the importance of this cooperation both for Vocational Education institutions and for the businesses themselves , thanking the two parties for the constructive cooperation and contribution so far.

Mr. Agon Dula – Coordinator for Cooperation between Businesses and Vocational Training Institutions within the framework of the ALLED2 project, emphasized the many opportunities that derive from this cooperation, both in terms of developing students’ practical skills in successful business environments, also in the sense of identifying potential candidates from the side of businesses to employ these young people after completing the practical part of learning and within the internship period that they will spend in their company. “The ALLED2 project has continuously had a wonderful cooperation and coordination with the private sector, as in this case with the present companies who have always been ready to give their contribution within the implementation of many activities within the ALLED2 project “- added Mr. Dula.

Mr. Butrint Batalli, head of the team of experts from the INOVA Consulting company engaged in this activity within the ALLED2 project, emphasized that the work within these companies is developed according to contemporary standards and practices that will play an important role in students through the expansion of knowledge and their preparation in accordance with the needs of the labor market. Mr. Batalli clarified that their experts are also working on identifying a package of incentives for private sector businesses, which will be proposed to the Government of Kosovo, to encourage their involvement in a genuine cooperation with Vocational Education and Training institutions.

Mr. Astrit Rexhaj, an expert engaged in this activity within the ALLED2 project, emphasized that such collaborations are the right way towards developing the skills of our young people, creating new jobs, as well as promoting the potential that has Kosovo, both from the side of the Vocational Schools, and from the side of our Businesses. Mr. Rexhaj also emphasized the important role that the municipal government level has in pushing and supporting a more structured cooperation between businesses and professional schools.
